StrapLock from Hunter Offroad
Have you hugged your tow strap today? It’s there to rescue your rear, or
(most likely) your buddy’s, in a severe moment of high-centeredness or
stuck-beyond-all-feasible-understanding.
And where straps get stowed most often? Under the backseat, at the
bottom of a tool kit, or perhaps underneath a pile of greasy spare parts
that rarely get put to service.
“A tow strap deserves more respect than that,” says John from Hunter
Offroad. So he’s produced this device to help: The StrapLock. Roll up
your tow strap, and this $20 item locks it down to any surface on your
Jeep, toolbox, Action Packer, or whatever, with an easy-to-remove wing
nut.
John says, “It should take you longer to figure out where to mount the
StrapLock than it will to actually install it. And I pack it with more
hardware than you need. You’ll have some washers and a bolt left over.”
It’s made from diamond plate aluminum (corrosion free) and is
paintable if you want to change the natural color.
